The pierced, arched crest profusely carved with foliate and floral scrollwork centering putti and flanked by classical urn finials, above the two-door cabinet opening to a fitted interior incorporating an arrangement of ten variously sized drawers and having the original finely engraved brass hinges, escutcheons and corner mounts; elaborately decorated throughout with exotic birds, court figures, chinoiserie landscapes and flower filled vases; the stand having a deep carved frieze of conforming designs, raised on cherub form supports terminating in acanthus carved cabriole legs ending in scroll form feet.
