Description
The white marble top of demi-lune form painted with a central fan patera incorporating a sunflowerhead, banding of feathery acanthus leaves, and border of rinceau decoration centered by an urn on a green ground; the outside border of repeating urn and palmette ornament on a blue ground; over a deep frieze finely carved with egg and dart, bead, and fasces decoration; raised on baluster-shaped and laurel leaf-wrapped legs joined by incurving stretchers on turned feet.
