Description
Painted on each side with shell decoration and mounted with gilt ram's head handles; the pierced covers surmounted by gilt sphinx finials.

Condition
Both vases have re-gilt handles and finials. One finial is most likely a replacement, but was done some time ago. There is very minor rubbing to the gilt trim on the bases, mostly concentrated at the corners. The shell decorated panels are in excellent condition.
