The leather-lined rectangular top fitted with a ratcheted writing surface, over a central frieze drawer fitted with a writing slide and lidded lettered compartments, above a recessed kneehole and flanked by two short over three long graduated drawers to one side; the reverse fitted with cupboard doors; on a plinth base; the underside retaining partial 18th century label.
