The reverse breakfront cornice over a stylized foliate scroll brass-inlaid frieze and pair of glazed doors opening to three adjustable shelves, flanked by brass-strung pilasters headed by stylized bellflower roundels; the lower part with a rising black and green marble cantilever top fronted by leather bookspines opening to a fitted interior and writing surface, over a pair of panelled cupboard doors enclosing two bookspine-fronted doors; flanked by marble columns on a plinth base.
