Each of unusual ovoid form, the exterior vertically-inlaid with alternating bands of satinwood and sycamore, the cover mounted with large brass pineapple finial and rising on a telescoping square shaft, the interior section fitted with apertures for cutlery, the socle raised on a concave-side quadripartite plinth with purfling inlay to the edges.
