Description
The rectangular cornice above a pair of cupboard doors painted with chinoiserie scenes, enclosing an arrangement of eleven drawers and three pigeonholes, over a lower section with conforming paint decorated cupboard doors opening to eight sliding trays, raised on turned bun feet; upper left drawer inscribed: "This Cabinet is the Gift of Mrs Robinson to her Two Daughters Jane & Mary Robinson. Thorp Green. Dec. 25th 1808."
