Description

Most probably retaining the original painted surface. The divided central plated mounted with finely carved foliate and floral swags, and enclosed by symmetrically shaped border plates issuing stylized rock-work and mounted with conforming carved outer frame, set below a feather plume crest; the apron issuing acanthus leaf sprays. Previously, but not originally gilded.
